Farewell 2010, Hello 2011

31 Dec

Wow, in a flash 2010 has come to its end and here we are hopping into 2011.

How was your year? Was a fruitful year? Was it a wonderful year? Was it a year of significance?

If it wasn’t it’s time to make some New Year resolutions, and this time stick to them. =P

Treasure the great times. Appreciate the mistakes made and learn from them.

Now it’s time to turn back to the year and give it a smile. Thank you 2010 for all the good times and great experiences that you have offered me. Hello 2011!

Will you make a difference in the New Year?

The choice is yours and it always begins with you!

Being yourself or blending in

20 Dec

Most people are afraid to be perceived as an outcast to society. They blend in, doing everything normal. They take up activities that most regular people do, in turn becoming someone that they are not.

Do you intend to be just like each of them or would you prefer to try something different? Being yourself no matter how you will be perceived by others.

Do yourself a favor and give it some thought. Ultimately, the choice is yours.

Treasure what you have

We keep complaining about what we do not have in life but take what we already have for granted.  Doesn’t it always seem that we don’t know what we got till it’s gone? Loosing great friends, watching as our life passes us by and as our health deteriorates?

We have a home to return to a family to fall on to. According to skyward journey.com, there are approximately 200 million orphans in the world who do not have such a luxury that we take for granted. A family will always be there for you, to put you back on track, when you have been brought down, to motivate you when you’re down, and to push you forward when you need it most!

A family is not only there for pleasure or entertainment but for all faces of life: for better or for worse, for richer or for poorer, in sickness and in health, till death only then do we part – we need a family and that family needs us. We have that family, do appreciate them.

You can complain because roses have thorns, or you can rejoice because thorns have roses – Ziggy

The choice is yours!
